Capcom Resurrects a New Pair of Resident Evil Games

Depending on who you talk to, the RE franchise is either shambling or running strong. Though we don’t see any gameplay, the newest trailer for Operation Raccoon City at least looks pretty. A toss up between Resident Evil, a typical Spec Ops game and Left 4 Dead, Raccoon City looks like it could be a gut-busting good time if Capcom doesn’t drop the ball. What do you guys think?
On the other side of RE news, Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS just scored itself a 37/40 from Famitsu. Nintendo Power also gave the game a 9.0 out of 10 praising it’s addictive Raid multiplayer mode and solid exploration elements. It seems like the RE series is alive and well afterall. Resident Evil Revelations comes out in North America on February 7th, 2012.
