Interesting story........EXCEPT THERE'S A FLAW!

You say Gabe was overheard from inside his snackroom on that fateful night, however everyone knows that once Gabe has entered his snackroom he goes into a trance, and only eats. He does not speak. THAT MUST MEAN THAT BLIZZARD IS THE KILLER!

"Taken a page"

More like taken half the fucking book. Maybe if it didn't look like it played EXACTLY like Smash Bros, I wouldn't be disappointed in Sony, but come on.

I know I wrote the article, but I don't own a PS3 and I'm excited as fuck to play as Ratchet and/or Clank. I'm picturing Samus but with the ridiculous and/or awesome weapons from their series.

When people opined, nearly verbatim, Deadly's above comment on Usenet back in the 90s.. Well, they were told that they fail to understand video games, market swings, etc., etc.

Shit was bound to happen as technology became more and more transparent to the tech-centric generation. Of course, console manufacturers usually take a loss on hardware sales so they fight fire with gouging and no compete locks on developers who can't afford to not sell their product to a fraction of their targetted audience simply because they can.

I mean, Sony is the worst and they are the devil and when Sony and Activision finally merge, the world will recoil in horror, but MS does it to. Nintendo does it by not givnig a shit what crap is published for their platform, which hurts my head to think about.

If this is the modus operandi for the next generation then I don't think it's a maybe that the console market will have a huge downturn (but not a crash) and PC's will still get neglected because of marketing reps, analysts, eco analysts, et al refuse to admit that the systems they told their bosses is mandatory about six-eight years ago is exactly what will make their respective console divisions go in the red.

Truefax.

Fucking horse armor, man.

Ah and console gamers get to deal with the things PC gamers have been for ages, except they'll be stuck with price gouging digital outlets and no competition driven options. Maybe once the next gen flops if this and the speculation about the next Microsoft console is true they'll stop blaming everything on piracy and realizing punishing their customers is what loses sales.

If the intent is to help bran in his review and any future reviews, I would think it would behoove such individuals to provide constructive criticism instead of berating him in a aggressive manner. I would also think that explaining your argument instead of merely providing it would help as well. I'm not suggesting this turn into some sort of hugbox, but you could try to be less of an a-hole when you tell someone they need to make revisions.

Bran did admit to bringing bias and opinion into his review, which as people have pointed out, does not make for an objective review. Taking some time to research points you may make within your own review as well as asking for advice or opinions will help in the writing process and I would suggest having someone proofread if if the writer cannot find flaws.

Additionally I would like to note that Bran is still correct in saying “Throughout the game you’ll find more weapons than the previous game" as if you will pay attention, he specified singular use of the word "game". Whether that was intentional on his part or not, the statement is still correct as you have pointed out mlunchbox.

I personally feel that: while the game will at times disrupt continuity within the series, undermines the players with its ending, offers roughly the same amount of sophistication in terms of gameplay as its processors barring such oddities as the explosive sniper rifles, retcons lore, provides an underdeveloped multiplayer, and hiccups with its graphical flaws, it is in its own rights a cinematic experience and a decent game that is not worth the hype it is getting.

I think I did a fairly good job being objective in my opinion. I gave points, and even counterpoints to myself as to why I liked and disliked the game. For me, ME1 > 3 >>>> 2. 3 definitely could have stepped it up a bit more, but it was not a bad game. You might not like the ending, the story, etc -- but the game itself is good. It plays really well. I'm not sure what the issue was with bad AI in your experience, but I had marauders shooting at me while bruisers charged, making me dodge all over the place, engineers setting up turrets to keep me pinned down, etc.

If you want to talk about bad AI, look at ME2 for that. It was literally just a pop up and shoot game, the enemies all did the same thing, even the final boss.

Back to the gun thing again, I still don't see ME1 having more weaponry than 3. ME1 didn't have heavy guns like the blackstar, and none of them really did anything unique. Stuff like the chakram launcher in ME3 really stand out compared to how samey everything was in ME1. The combat is inarguably and undeniably more diverse in the newest entry, especially when you factor in the powers. Compare something like biotic charge to what vanguards had before, and.. well, yeah.

As for the story, and my opinion on it -- I don't know how to form an objective opinion on a story and I'm sorry for that. I either like it, or I don't. I did note that I cringed a few times at the writing quality, but I still did enjoy it overall. I can't really comment any further.
